Pergola Warranty – enVision Pergola LLC

This Limited Warranty applies exclusively to aluminum sunshade structures manufactured by enVision
Pergola LLC (“enVision Pergola”). The warranty covers defects in materials, workmanship, and finish for
a period of twenty (20) years from the date of installation and contracted purchase price is paid in full.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
Installation labor is not included and will be billed at current rates.
1. Warranty Coverage
enVision Pergola warrants its aluminum structures, powder-coat finish, integrated lighting, pergola
motors, and heaters to the original purchaser against defects in materials, workmanship, and finish for a
period of Twenty (20) years from the date of installation.
Any additional or third-party products are not covered or serviced by enVision Pergola. Warranty claims
or service inquiries for those products must be directed directly to the respective manufacturer.
2. Coverage Exclusions and Limitations
A. This warranty does not cover damage or consequences resulting from structural or screen shrinkage,
movement, or distortion of the property or home, nor any damage resulting from homeowner installation
or modifications to flooring or pergola.
B. This warranty does not cover fading, chalking, or deterioration of finish or materials caused by normal
weathering, pollution, chemicals, hard water, salt exposure, cleaning agents, mildew, or corrosive
environmental conditions.
C. The pergola structure is not designed to support added weight. Do not hang fans, hammocks, light
fixtures, flowerpots, or any other objects from the system. enVision Pergola is not responsible for loss of
profits, anticipated business, downtime, substitute products, loss of use, delays, or any special, indirect,
incidental, or consequential damages relating to this warranty or the supply of replacement parts.
D. No employee or representative of enVision Pergola is authorized to alter, modify, or extend the terms
of this written warranty.
3. Warranty Applicability & Owner Responsibilities
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and does not cover damage caused by:
 Impact, accidents, or contact with foreign objects
 Acts of God (including storms, lightning, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.)
 Situations beyond enVision Pergola’s control
To maintain warranty coverage, the owner must:
 Properly clean, maintain, and lubricate the system as recommended
 Keep louver blades in the open position during extreme wind conditions
 Clean the system using water or mild detergent, especially after salt or dirt buildup
 Maintain stainless steel components using stainless cleaner and a non-abrasive cloth, rubbing
with the grain
Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant but not corrosion-proof. Neglecting maintenance may void the
warranty.
4. Warranty Claim Procedure
To submit a warranty claim, the owner must send written notice via web submission at
envisionpergola.com or email to service@envisionpergola.com
including:
 A description of the issue
 Photos of the suspected defect
 The date the defect was discovered
A manufacturer’s representative will review and inspect the claim within 30 days. If the defect is covered,
enVision Pergola will correct it by repairing, refinishing, or replacing the defective component.

enVision Pergola is not responsible for shipping, labor, or installation costs for defects covered under
another manufacturer’s warranty. If the defect is not covered by another manufacturer, enVision Pergola
will cover the installation labor.
enVision Pergola may discontinue or modify product designs or colors at any time. If an exact product
match is unavailable, a component of comparable quality will be provided.
5. Additional Component Requirements
Pins, brackets, rods, springs, and other aluminum components are warranted for twenty (20) years
provided:
 The motorized opening system is fully opened and closed at least once per month
 All wiring is protected, and electrical controls are installed inside a waterproof enclosure
 Annual lubrication of the pergola motor and louver pins is performed
The pergola motor is also warranted for twenty (20) years under these conditions.
6. Limitations
To maintain warranty coverage, the owner must keep the louver troughs free of:
 Dirt
 Leaves
 Small rocks
 Branches
 Other debris
Annual lubrication of the motor is required.
Repairs or alterations performed before inspection may void the warranty.
Louvers must remain in the open position during wind conditions exceeding 60 MPH.
enVision Pergola may repair, replace, or refund the cost of defective components at its discretion. The
purchaser is responsible for:
 Installation costs
 Shipping
 Service charges
 Taxes
All defective parts replaced under warranty become the property of enVision Pergola.
If the original product is no longer available, a replacement of comparable quality or price may be
provided.
7. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
 Normal weathering or fading
 Dirt from birds or animals
 Streaking or water leakage
 Corrosion, chemical cleaners, or salt exposure
 Fire, lightning, tornadoes, hurricanes, or explosions
 Environmental conditions
 Vandalism, accidents, or negligence
 Misuse or improper care
 Lack of motor lubrication
 Failure to follow maintenance instructions
 Acts of God beyond the control of enVision Pergola
8. Exclusive Remedy
Repair, replacement, or refund of defective materials constitutes the exclusive remedy under this limited
warranty and represents full satisfaction of enVision Pergola’s obligations, regardless of the legal theory
of liability.
9. Disclaimer

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and applies only when the system is installed according
to enVision Pergola’s engineering specifications and local building codes. Warranty coverage is void if
system components or accessories are altered or improperly repaired.
The owner must follow the care and cleaning instructions provided. Failure to do so may void the
warranty.
This warranty begins on the date installation is completed and applies only to pergolas installed within the
Continental United States and Canada.
Manual opening systems and associated aluminum components are warranted for twenty (20) years
provided the system is fully opened at least once monthly.

within 30 days of discovering the defect. Include:
 Installation date
 Installation address
 Installer name and address
 A copy of the invoice
All implied warranties—including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose—are expressly
disclaimed. enVision Pergola is not liable for lost profits, business interruption, substitute products,
downtime costs, delays, or any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from this
warranty or the supply of products.
No representative or employee is authorized to modify this warranty.
